of ovoid section, the sides rise from a slightly flared, recessed base to a well-rounded shoulder, a waisted neck and an everted lip, with a spout to one side. A chilong is worked in high relief to one side. The vessel is worked with archaistic decoration: a broad band of spirals around the shoulder above scroll patterns to the body and beneath a narrow key-fret border around the rim. The translucent stone is a pale greyish-green tone with some oatmeal markings.
