An oval reverse glass painting
Late 18th century
Height: 15 1/2 in, 39.3 cm
Painted with a young lady, holding a mask in her right hand. She wears a dress, a fur cloak, an elaborate headdress and pearl jewellery. She has long brown hair and her delicate features are finely portrayed.
Formerly in a Western private collection.
